Before going into the details of why I believe Maddux Sports is one of the best services out there today, I'd suggest reviewing the How to Choose a Sports Betting Service Page. This will go over my personal checklist that I use in order to rate sports handicappers. With that said, let's see how Maddux Sports checks out against my criteria.

In a word, ABSOLUTELY. Just take a look at their website and some of the incredible articles they've written and you'll be able to tell right away that Maddux Sports is a top quality service.

They've been at it for over 10 years and have shown fantastic results since inception. Now they don't actually list historical plays or report their plays to The Monitor, which I wish they would, but they will show you how much profit they've averaged per year over the last four years for every sport they handicap.

Now for most sports betting services this wouldn't mean much to me because they're usually full of BS, but just give them a call, speak to an actual client, or ask about them on one of the sports betting forums and you'll know they run a reputable service.

I can say without a doubt that Maddux Sports is one of the best handicapping services in the industry. They provide a very comprehensive service that is both honest and ethical but also offers great articles and tips in helping you become the best handicapper you can be.

As mentioned above, I wish they'd actually provide in detail a history of their win percentage in the various sports they wager. However, they do provide the average annual profit of the previous four years for each sport they handicap.

Like I said before, this normally doesn't mean much to me but I've done my homework to make sure what they report is legit and I can say without a doubt that it is. They continue to bring back the same clients year after year and that doesn't happen if you're losing money for them.

As stated on their website, they stopped reporting their picks to the monitors back in 2003 with the main reason being that they "were being sold backdoor without receiving a dollar of the revenue earned." Other legitimate reasons are stated as well. I completely understand all of their concerns but still wish they would report their picks to The Monitor.

With that being said, I don't hold it against them because I know they're an honest and reputable sports betting service. It's not very often you can find not only an ethical service but also one that offers a proven long term track record of winning.

Maddux Sports has been on the internet for over 10 years, but all together they boast more than 45 years of experience in sports betting. As I've said before, if you've been in business this long, then you must be doing something right.

Their experience and knowledge is obvious once you visit their site. You may not have heard much about them before (which in my opinion is a good thing), but that's because they put all of their time into handicapping sports and not trying to market themselves (like 99% of other handicappers).

They believe in a consistent straightforward philosophy to betting on sports. Various factors that go into their approach are match-ups, vs. the spread records, weather, hot/cold streaks, power ratings, finding out where the smart money is headed, and many other things.

They don't release a certain amount of picks every day. There might be days where they don't have any picks but there also might be days when the have 10 picks. It all depends on the situations and where they feel they have an advantage.

Something I always look for when choosing a service is finding one that bets on their own picks right along with the client or as I like to say "eating their own cooking." I can assure you Maddux Sports is right beside the client, betting every game that they release. Stay far far away from those handicappers that won't even bet their own money on their own picks.

They handicap a number of sports and are very consistent at everyone one of them. They include the NFL, College Football, the NBA, College Basketball, MLB, and Hockey.

I really couldn't say what they're best at because they're pretty darn good at each one (just take a look the average profit per season over the last four years for each sport). I have no problem at all recommending them for any of the sports they handicap.

They offer a number of different subscriptions and all of them are extremely affordable, especially for what you'll get in return. However, you should always account for costs within your money management philosophy. They of course offer daily picks, but in my opinion you should look at it much longer term.

You'll obviously need to put a little more money down but I always recommend purchasing an entire season if you're serious about getting the full benefit of a sports betting service. It will always be the lowest cost per day no matter what service you choose.

Typical season packages are right around the $500 range, which is really one a heck of a deal when you compare them with other handicappers. More importantly than that though is the piece of mind you'll receive from investing with a service that has a proven long term record of winning.

Maddux Sports also offers a guarantee policy with their picks. The guarantee states that if you don't make a profit over the time you purchased (1 day, 1 month, or an entire season), then you will receive an equal amount of time free of charge.

Maddux Sports has very efficient customer service. Emails and voicemails are returned in a timely manner, but most of the time if you call, you'll speak with someone personally. I really think they run a top class service.
