Spider Web Sports

Spider Web Sports is a unique betting software that's been around for a few years now. While maybe not as well known as some software packages, they have established themselves as a quality, reputable, and most importantly, winning service.

They have created a unique niche within the market that has proven to be quite profitable over the past few years. As with any sports betting software pick package though, the formulas and algorithms take an objective look at finding point spreads that can be exploited.

Spider Web Sports - A Little Background

Spider Web Sports takes pride in being recognized as an accredited software engineering firm with the Better Business Bureau. This is something I commend them for because you won't find many other sports betting software companies or services that take this extra step. I certainly give them credit for going above and beyond to insure that their clients are working with a reputable company.

They're very up front and honest with how they go about picking games. This statement, taken directly from their website, goes a long ways with me: "Our single goal is to make money for ourselves and for our users by designing our computer algorithms to be all-inclusive in their analysis. Although we do occasionally have losing days (everybody does), our results are overwhelmingly positive."

Not only does it tell me they won't win everyday (nobody will and if they do, run the other direction), but it also tells me they eat their own cooking. A service that bets their own picks right along side their clients gives me great confidence that they're putting every effort in picking winners. I will guarantee you that 99% of services or handicappers that sell their picks don't even have the confidence to bet money on them.

Spider Web Sports - Philosophy

Spider Web Sports makes picks for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA Football and Basketball, and NHL. They do play a lot of games, but as any good sports handicapper will tell you, that is a good thing. If you're not sure why, take a look at this excerpt that will give you a better explanation:

"Say we bet an average of six plays per day at a 55% win rate on -110 lines. These numbers lead to an average profit of 0.303 units per day [6*((.55*.91)-.45) = 0.303]. Compare this to another handicapper who prides himself on providing one KILLER play each day. A little algebra tells us that this second handicapper would have to win 68.2% of of his plays to earn the same amount of profit as us. So, even if this guy caps at the magic mark of 60% he would still fall well short. Outwardly it may seem that this guy is a better handicapper than us (after all, he wins 60% of the time compared to our measly 55%), but what do we all know? That's right, it's all about profit."

This quote says a lot and may even be eye opening for a lot of novice handicappers. While you don't want to go overboard with the amount of games you bet on a daily basis, the more bets you make (again not just for the sake of betting), the lower your win percentage can be while still showing a profit. It's just simple math, but extremely important to know when it comes to gambling on sports.

Overall, their philosophy can be summed up in a few sentences:

"Humans are good at making rational, subjective decisions, but are very poor at making large calculations to determine the statistical likelihood of an event. That is why all of our picks are computer generated. That's right, we have made a computer program to do our handicapping for us. This program does baseball handicapping, football handicapping, basketball handicapping, and hockey handicapping as well. The average professional handicapper probably spends an hour or so picking each game. Given that same hour, our program can easily do the equivalent of a million man hours of work."

Spider Web Sports - Overview and Recommendation

Now that you have a better idea of who they are and what they're about, you probably want to know my thoughts. Well, I can say wholeheartedly that I fully endorse their software and service. They are very upfront, honest, and have a proven track record of winning.

All picks they make can be tracked right from their website. They're posted 10 minutes after the start of each game so you can always examine their record even if you're not subscribing to their service. Trust me, it's rare that you'll find any service that will do this. What's even better though is that they actually keep track of every single pick they've made, making it very easy to check their historical record.

Again, this is extremely rare in the industry. With their incredible long term track record and up front honesty, Spider Web Sports is our top choice in the categories of sports betting software and sports betting services.

I also can't emphasize enough how important it is to find a service or software that bets their own picks right along with the client or as I like to say "eating their own cooking." I know I've said before, but it just so important I wanted to say it again.

I can assure you Spider Web Sports is right beside the client betting every game they release. Handicappers/Services that have "skin in the game" have proven to win much more than those that don't...and I think it's pretty obvious why. Stay far far away from those handicappers that won't even bet their own money on their own picks.

So how much does it cost? Well, this is one of the best parts because they offer extremely reasonable subscriptions especially when compared to other sports betting services. For every sport they handicap (that's right every sport), packages range from $99 for a week up to $1499 for a three year subscription (Yea that's right, just $1499 and you'll get their picks for three years).

A lot of times they'll offer discounts too, plus they have a 110% money back compensation/guarantee(I promise you won't find this anywhere else). In other words, if they are not profitable over the course of your subscription, then you will be refunded your entire subscription price plus an additional 10%. However, because of variance, the money back compensation will not be applied to one week subscriptions but does apply to all others.

Now I realize you'll need to put a little more money down, but I always recommend purchasing at least a one-year subscription (preferably the lifetime) if you're serious about getting the full benefit of a sports betting service. It will always be the lowest cost per day no matter what service you choose.

As I've said before, you need to look at sports betting as a long-term investment and if you're only buying picks randomly then you aren't utilizing the full benefit of that service. A handicapper will have hot and cold streaks throughout the year, so if your just buying them aimlessly, you're not benefiting from their entire track record and taking full advantage of the service.

I'll say it again just because I truly feel it's that important; If you're going to employ the services of a professional betting service, then it's important that you purchase a longer term package.

Customer service is very easy to use and you can access them by telephone, live chat, or email. Any questions or issues will be addressed in a very timely manner.

As you can probably tell by now, I'm a huge fan and proponent of Spider Web Sports. They are one of the few honest, reputable, and winning sports handicapping software services on the market today. I fully endorse their software and if you're serious about betting on sports, then I would highly recommend you check out their website.
