Microbrothers

When it comes to sports betting software, MicroBrothers WinPicks certainly has carved it's own niche. Definitely one of the most popular out there today and, in my opinion, probably the best.MicroBrothers offers four different programs that can be purchased separately (depending on what sports you handicap) or all together in their Parlay Pack. Sports include Pro Football, College Football, Pro Basketball, and College Basketball. All four programs are very similar and once you understand one of them, you won't have trouble working with any of them. Although a lot of data goes into the software (way to complicated for me), they make the programs extremely easy to use and understand. Program Overview Trust me, it'll be a little overwhelming at first, but once you understand the ins and outs, you won't have any problem navigating through the software. As with anything this sophisticated, it'll take some time to get used to, but like I said, it's very easy to use once you get the hang of it. One of the things I really like about WinPicks is the free trial they offer. Although the free trial software won't include this years stats, it does allow you to navigate through prior years so you can see exactly how it works. MicroBrothers database for each sport dates back a number of years. Professional and College Football goes back to the 1985-86 season. Pro Basketball goes back to the 1990-91 season and College Basketball goes back to the 2000-01 season. How The Program Works For those that simply want MicroBrothers to do the work for you, they have four different prediction formulas already preloaded with the program. However for those that really like to get into the details, you can always create your own or they offer a number of different formulas from the Formula Warehouse that you can always adjust and back test. They take just about every variable into account when creating a formula and you can even maneuver them to your liking. Formulas can be used to predict winners against the spread, straight up, or totals. There really are a limitless amount of options. When reviewing the formula's, you'll always want to make sure that you go back and test at lest three years of data. You can pick from any formula or a consensus from a few different formulas. I personally like to focus on what's called the "Platinum Picks", which essentially are the best of the best plays. The Platinum Plays take into account the formula's you've chosen along with trends and past matchups. Software Updates And Details Something else I really like and found unique to this sports betting software are the continuous updates. Stats for the software are updated throughout the day simply by clicking a download button through the program. There are certainly more details that go into the WinPicks sports betting software than what I've covered. They offer a fantastic manual that's really easy to go through along with tech support that's always there to answer any questions which might not be covered in the manual. What's It Going To Cost Me? How much does it cost? Well if you know me by now, I'm a pretty frugal guy, but if I can find something that will truly help my overall sports betting philosophy then I'm willing to shell out some cash. Well with MicroBrothers WinPicks, you get the best of both worlds because not only is it the best software I've reviewed, it's also extremely reasonable for any size bettor. Plus repeat clients will receive a price break. MicroBrothers Recommendation They've been building software for over twenty years and I can assure you if you've been at this long then you must be doing something right (and trust me MicroBrothers is doing more than something right). They've been able to fine tune some great sports betting software that is a must for any serious handicapper. I've tested others, (names I won't mention) but this is one that stands out from the crowd. Without question, I fully endorse MicroBrothers WinPicks sports betting software. Whether you're just a beginning sports bettor or you've been at it for years, I can guarantee you'll find a use for this within your overall sports betting strategy. Spider Web Sports

Spider Web Sports is a unique betting software that's been around for a few years now. While maybe not as well known as some software packages, they have established themselves as a quality, reputable, and most importantly, winning service. They have created a unique niche within the market that has proven to be quite profitable over the past few years. As with any sports betting software pick package though, the formulas and algorithms take an objective look at finding point spreads that can be exploited. Spider Web Sports - A Little BackgroundSpider Web Sports takes pride in being recognized as an accredited software engineering firm with the Better Business Bureau. This is something I commend them for because you won't find many other sports betting software companies or services that take this extra step. I certainly give them credit for going above and beyond to insure that their clients are working with a reputable company. They're very up front and honest with how they go about picking games. This statement, taken directly from their website, goes a long ways with me: "Our single goal is to make money for ourselves and for our users by designing our computer algorithms to be all-inclusive in their analysis. Although we do occasionally have losing days (everybody does), our results are overwhelmingly positive." Not only does it tell me they won't win everyday (nobody will and if they do, run the other direction), but it also tells me they eat their own cooking. A service that bets their own picks right along side their clients gives me great confidence that they're putting every effort in picking winners. I will guarantee you that 99% of services or handicappers that sell their picks don't even have the confidence to bet money on them. Spider Web Sports - PhilosophySpider Web Sports makes picks for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA Football and Basketball, and NHL. They do play a lot of games, but as any good sports handicapper will tell you, that is a good thing. If you're not sure why, take a look at this excerpt that will give you a better explanation: "Say we bet an average of six plays per day at a 55% win rate on -110 lines. These numbers lead to an average profit of 0.303 units per day [6*((.55*.91)-.45) = 0.303]. Compare this to another handicapper who prides himself on providing one KILLER play each day. A little algebra tells us that this second handicapper would have to win 68.2% of of his plays to earn the same amount of profit as us. So, even if this guy caps at the magic mark of 60% he would still fall well short. Outwardly it may seem that this guy is a better handicapper than us (after all, he wins 60% of the time compared to our measly 55%), but what do we all know? That's right, it's all about profit."
This quote says a lot and may even be eye opening for a lot of novice handicappers. While you don't want to go overboard with the amount of games you bet on a daily basis, the more bets you make (again not just for the sake of betting), the lower your win percentage can be while still showing a profit. It's just simple math, but extremely important to know when it comes to gambling on sports. Overall, their philosophy can be summed up in a few sentences: "Humans are good at making rational, subjective decisions, but are very poor at making large calculations to determine the statistical likelihood of an event. That is why all of our picks are computer generated. That's right, we have made a computer program to do our handicapping for us. This program does baseball handicapping, football handicapping, basketball handicapping, and hockey handicapping as well. The average professional handicapper probably spends an hour or so picking each game. Given that same hour, our program can easily do the equivalent of a million man hours of work." Spider Web Sports - Overview and RecommendationNow that you have a better idea of who they are and what they're about, you probably want to know my thoughts. Well, I can say wholeheartedly that I fully endorse their software and service. They are very upfront, honest, and have a proven track record of winning. All picks they make can be tracked right from their website. They're posted 10 minutes after the start of each game so you can always examine their record even if you're not subscribing to their service. Trust me, it's rare that you'll find any service that will do this. Now I wish they had an archive of all picks, but not everybody is perfect. So if you want to track their selections, you'll just have to visit the site on a daily basis (not a big deal and certainly more forthcoming than 99% of other services). Something I always look for when choosing a service or software is finding one that bets their own picks right along with the client or as I like to say "eating their own cooking." I know I've said before, but it just so important I wanted to say it again. I can assure you Spider Web Sports is right beside the client, betting every game they release. Stay far far away from those handicappers that won't even bet their own money on their own picks. What's It Going To Cost Me? So how much does it cost? Well, this is one of the best parts because they offer extremely reasonable subscriptions especially when compared to other sports betting services. For every sport they handicap (that's right every sport), packages range from $39 for a week up to $599 for a lifetime subscription (Yea that's right, just $599 and you'll get their picks forever). A lot of times they'll offer discounts too. Now I realize you'll need to put a little more money down, but I always recommend purchasing at least a one-year subscription (preferably the lifetime) if you're serious about getting the full benefit of a sports betting service. It will always be the lowest cost per day no matter what service you choose. As I've said before, you need to look at sports betting as a long-term investment and if you're only buying picks randomly then you aren't utilizing the full benefit of that service. A handicapper will have hot and cold streaks throughout the year, so if your just buying them aimlessly, you're not benefiting from their entire track record and taking full advantage of the service. I'll say it again just because I truly feel it's that important; If you're going to employ the services of a professional betting service, then it's important that you purchase a longer term package. Customer service is very easy to use and you can access them by telephone, live chat, or email. Any questions or issues will be addressed in a very timely manner. As you can probably tell by now, I'm a huge fan and proponent of Spider Web Sports. They are one of the few honest, reputable, and winning sports handicapping software services on the market today. I fully endorse their software and if you're serious about betting on sports, then I would highly recommend you check out their website. Top of Page
Stat Attack Sports
When it comes to tracking sports betting statistics, Stat Attack Sports is always the first software I recommend. They offer the most comprehensive sports betting statistics software in the industry today (at least in my opinion). They have programs for Pro Football, College Football, Pro Basketball, College Basketball, and Baseball.Tracking stats for betting purposes can be overwhelming for anybody, even if you're a professional handicapper. If you're like me, you definitely don't have the time but even more, who knows if I'd even be keeping accurate records with so many statistics to track. Stat Attack Sports is really a great software and organization that's been doing it for years (I wish I would've found out about these guys sooner). Whether you only handicap sports for fun or you're doing it for a living, this software is a great addition to anyone's overall sports betting strategy. What Do They Do? They offer basically every statistic available in football back to the 85-86 season. Pro basketball goes back to the 90-91 season, College Basketball to the 97-98, and even Baseball goes back to the 99 season. That's for every single game played. For some reason, it just amazes me that someone is smart enough to create a program that can actually track so much data (way beyond my intelligence level). Whatever sport it is you're handicapping, you can research just about every trend imaginable to determine if you have an advantage over the books. Whether it's comparing conferences, weather conditions, coaches, etc., Stat Attack Sports will calculate the variables in a matter of seconds. Totals (Over/Unders) are also a breeze to calculate with the program. Whatever variables you want to use, it'll come back with the exact over/under record for that time period. Having software this powerful is a must for any serious sports handicapper. Of course, any of the statistics, trends, or variables can be customized depending on what you're searching. Stat Attack Sports is a very intelligent betting software that I have no problem in recommending to anyone. Is It Easy To Use? Well, whether you're a computer whiz or you're scared to even check you're email, it won't take you long to get the hang of it. Trust me, I am by no means a computer genius and I got it down in a matter of minutes. As long as you know how to click a mouse then you shouldn't have any trouble at all. And if you do have any issues, customer service is just an email or phone call away. The best part though is you actually get to talk with a real person that will walk you right through resolving the problem. YLF 2000 and Pigskin Prophecy For those that don't have much time or aren't the do it yourself type, they also offer YLF 2000 for Pro and College Football, along with a great newsletter called "Pigskin Prophesy." They YLF 2000 programs will take a look at every game each week and compare them to 32 essential trends. All it takes is a matter of minutes and you'll have the top suggested games right there on your computer. The YLF 2000 programs do a great job for those of you that can't put in the time or desire to handicap the games yourself. As for "Pigskin Prophecy", this is one of the best (and most honest) football handicapping newsletters out there today. It's extremely comprehensive and goes over a lot of data, but most importantly it's interpreted for you. I really enjoy their personal predictions and always refer to them when I'm doing my own research. How Much Does It Cost? So now you're probably wondering how much it cost? Well, each program is sold separately for right around 50 bucks each. In my opinion, it's a very small price to pay especially when you compare it to how many percentage points it will add to your overall return on investment. As you can probably tell by now, I'm a big proponent of the Stat Attack Sports betting software. I fully endorse the program and can't recommend it enough to any serious sports handicapper. Accuscore
AccuScore is by far one of my favorite sports betting research websites. When it comes to simulation sports betting software, they are certainly the best. They provide a ton of information directly from their website. So what exactly is AccuScore? Well, they offer a number of different services (as you'll soon see just by visiting the site) but they're all basically derived from their Game Forecasts. It is a sports betting software that will simulate each game (NFL, NCAA Football, NBA, NCAA Basketball, NHL, and MLB) over 10,000 times and report the average score for each team along with the stats of each player. They factor in just about every statistic you can think of including players, weather, field surface, injuries...etc. When it comes to simulations, it is the most comprehensive sports betting software I have ever come across. How Does The Program Work? "All information and data on is forecasted information and most information is reported in terms of a probability. Just like the local weatherman will tell you the chance of it raining, the Game Forecasts will tell you the chance of winning, the chance of rushing for 80 yards, the chance for passing for 2 touchdowns, etc." "The forecasts are generated by the unbiased, unemotional, powerhouse simulator that carefully models how players and coaches have individually responded to similar conditions (environment and opponent characteristics). An analyst will summarize the findings and provide further insight into the Forecast. The analysts provide a technical explanation for the numbers you see in the Forecast." "Even some of the most dedicated users do not agree with using objective, unbiased analysis because they believe emotional factors are more important. These are some of their most dedicated users because it shows them when/where the objective, computer approach matches their more “emotional / gut instinct” approach." "No matter how you use or interpret it, they will always maintain their unbiased, independent, technical approach. As a result AccuScore does not make picks." How Can You Use It? AccuScore isn't a gambling service or handicapper. They objectively and accurately simulate upcoming games thousands of times. However, it's up to you to interpret the data and implement it into your overall sports betting philosophy. There are a lot of professional handicappers and services that use AccuScore for it's objective, unbiased approach to handicapping and simulating games. When you're teamed up with ESPN, Yahoo Sports, CBS Sports, and others, you know you're doing something right and I can assure you it's a quality, reputable, and trustworthy sports betting software that I have no problem in recommending to anyone. Believe me, they offer a ton of information (a little overwhelming at first) and it'll take a while to get used to and learn how it all works. Read everything that you can through the site and then it's just a matter of testing out there simulations and interpreting it into your sports betting strategy. How Much Does It Cost? AccuScore is not a free sports betting software package, but when you compare the cost of it to a handicapping service or how it can add to your overall profit margin, it really is a small price to pay. If you're serious about betting on sports, then this software is something that has to be considered in your overall approach to handicapping. To get more information or sign up, just Click Here. Pro Football Forecast
Another sports handicapping software that I'm a big fan of is the Pro Football Forecast. It's extremely easy to use and has a fantastic track record.Over the last 5 years from 2004-2008 (results can be found here) their best bets have been a ridiculous 176-114, or just over 61%. The best bets have never had a losing year since they've been tracked. Plus, if you know me by now, I give much more credit to software programs that actually provide accurate and verifiable track records. The software was developed into a system back in the early nineties. For the most part, the heart of the program remains in tact although there have been refinements and tweaks over the years (which you should expect with any good sports betting software). How Does It Work? It analyzes a number of key defensive and offensive statistics to determine a predicted score. "The Pro Football Forecast Betting Handicapping Software Engine quantifies the offensive efficiency of each team as well as their defensive efficiency, and how these key statistics relate to each other and the results are translated into points." Important factors include turnover differential, team power ratings, and home field advantage. This criterion, along with others, are used to determine a "Predicted Score which is then compared with the betting line point spread to see if any discrepancies can be discerned and to see if the point spread is accurate, or if it has been swayed by misguided public opinion or money hungry oddsmakers." How Much Does It Cost? The software is very easy to use but more importantly it's affordable for any size bettor. The standard program (the user has to enter the statistical factors) is only $20, while the premium program (all you have to do is download the statistical factors) is only $50. The premium is well worth the extra 30 bucks. To have a software program that has averaged over 61% for the past five years and only cost $50 is a true godsend for any sports bettor. As you can probably tell, I'm a big fan of Pro Football Forecast. I truly feel they've created a great sports betting program that is a must addition to your sports gambling war chest. To find out more or to purchase the software, simply click here. As always, please feel free to click on the Contact Us button to the left if you have any questions, recommendations, or feedback. I'm always looking for new great services and software. Best of luck in all your sports betting endeavors.
